In 2023, Diwali and Guy Fawkes Night fall within days of each other. This year’s Fireworks Display is set to celebrate both Diwali and Guy Fawkes Night in a grand event that combines the Festival of Light with Bonfire Night. We have an array of exciting entertainment, delectable food options, shopping stalls, sponsors, and a burst of colors. For those marking Guy Fawkes Night, we’re bringing back our full-size funfair and a diverse culinary selection, including fish and chips, jacket potatoes, carvery, burgers, hog roast, Mexican and Indian cuisine, and more. Additionally, our event will feature a comprehensive fun fair, shopping zone, and live DJ. The highlight of the evening will be a pyro-musical synchronized to movie-themed music.
Gates to the event will open at 12 pm, and admission will be free until 3 pm, after which a fee will apply. Our pre-show will kick off around 7:45 pm, leading up to our spectacular fireworks display set to movie music. To secure a prime viewing spot and enjoy daytime entertainment, early arrival is recommended. Expect crowds from 6:30 pm, so plan accordingly, especially if you’re traveling with children.
As the largest fireworks display event in the area and beyond, our event promises an entire day of fun and entertainment for local residents and visitors alike.
